Personal Development Plan

This is my blog dedicated to me setting and monitoring my progression towards my desired job which is animation in 2D or 3D.

I would like to aim towards university to further my career in animation.

Requirements :
  • 104 UCAS points and 64 points from two A levels or BTEC equivalent.
  • GCSE English and maths at C or above or a grade 4 or above. 
As well as a portfolio of my best work to show my abilities. 
Where I will be studying 2D and 3D animation from stop motion to digital and create storyboards.
Short targets:
  • Improve my communication skills.
  • Make a good CV.
  • Get a part time job (if possible related to the course)
Long term targets:
  • Attempt to start using some animation software (maya/blender)
  • Try to achieve the best grades possible on the course


Activities:
get used to maya or blender to get a grasp of animation and how 3D animation is done as well as creating 3D models.

I plan to achieve these targets by getting college work in on time and putting all my effort into it. Getting a job will allow me to improve my communication skills and if related to the course improve my abilities in class.

Week 6 My interview for Wilkinson is on the 8th November hopefully i get the job if not i will need to go and look for another job. I have also looked into what qualifications i would need to get into university if i decided to go. hopefully this job will help me to become more independent and allow me to grow my confidence. this is my code for a text base adventure game however it is still very work in progress as some option are not fully written out but the program at least runs and allows you to choose the options available. i also got a functioning random number generator to mimic the rolling of a dice.
