Week 1 I have downloaded blender and have started to dabble in the program by making shapes and adding colour and texture to the shapes. As well as installing Maya tho i am yet to start using Maya. I need to start looking into animation loops like arm movement or a running animation to get a working rig to which i can use on all the models i create. I also need to start planning my own characters to make 3D. Learn how to rig a pre-made model for practice. Try using Mayas physics engine to add movement to clothing items or hair for example. As well as redoing my CV to better my chances at getting a job.
